POKOLBIN WINE TOUR - wine, cheese, olive and oils.

Your day starts with your first tasting at 9.30am at Peterson Champagne House and a visit to the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company.

A short drive brings you to Hungerford Hill Wines, known for their wide variety of whites and reds and liqueurs.

Pokolbin Village has so much to offer, from the Hunter Valley Smelly Cheese shop to fudge tasting at Pokolbin chocolate & jam company. Here you will taste some of the Hunter Valley's finest feta's. Andrew and Leisa bring an Esky (cooler box) for anything that needs to be kept chilled.

Kevin Sobels Wines is a Hunter Valley icon, with wines to suit every palate from dry whites to their famous Sweet N Luverley Red, our personal favourite is their easy drinking Merlot. Oh and don't forget to say hi to their famous wine dog!

Calais Estate is your next stop and they can tempt you, not only with their beautiful wines, but they also have a lot of knick-knacks for you to buy.

After a morning of wine tasting we are off to lunch at Belposto Cafe/Restaurant where you can enjoy a wine tasting at Wandin Valley while lunch is being prepared for you. Bus menu. Or you may wish to purchase your own meal at Potters Brewery.

The Hunter Olive Centre, here you have the chance to try olives and dippers local producers. The jams are amazing!

The Cockfighters Ghost range is a definite must when in the Hunter Valley (ask Kath n Kim). Join us at Poolesrock Winery to try their famous range of award winning wines.

Drayton Family Wines, known for their Oakey Creek range of wines, 100% family owned since 1853. Our personal favourite 2002 shiraz/cabernet is a must for lovers of red wine.

We can take you to the Hunter Resort, for the famous Blue Tongue Beer tasting. This is an optional extra, and is payable to Blue Tongue Brewery. Ask us about this prior to your tour.

We return you to your accommodation around 5pm.

$85 per person (with lunch at Belposto restaurant)
$65 per person (with lunch at own expense at Potters Brewery**)
$65 per person (without Lunch)*Please feel free to bring your own picnic lunch*

***Lunch includes a glass of soft drink/juice/coffee or tea with your meal. Does not include the cost of a glass of wine or a beer.

Blue Tongue Beer Tasting from $7.50pp for 4 beers or $10pp for 6 beers plus a middy of your favourite Bluetongue beer. Beer tastings are paid on the day to Blue Tongue Brewery

Due to fuel prices we do ask for an extra $4 per group for visits to Blue Tongue Brewery.

Most dietary requirement can be catered for, please ask for menu's before booking if you have any concerns.
Minimum 2 adults maximum 14 on this tour, if over 7 people you will be travelling in 2 vehicles.
This tour may be altered for your convenience and Vineyard/winery availability. Also may be altered when catering for lunch stop.
Costs may vary depending on pick-up. EG Newcastle Pick-ups from $40 for tour.
Cellar door tasting charges may apply.
