BARRINGTON TOPS DAY TOUR

Our Barrington Tops day tours are the perfect way to experience Australia's stunning and diverse country side.

Your day will include a beautiful drive through the historic town of Dungog on our way to Chichester Dam. Lamingtons and a cuppa will be served for morning tea by the river at the base of the dam, before taking a lovely stroll to the lookout.

We then head into the lush semi-rainforests of the Chichester area of the Barrington Tops State Forest. You will visit one of the many water falls, walk amongst 100 year old gum trees, and relax while a delicious lunch plus a glass of wine is prepared for you.

Your guides, Andrew and Leisa will be happy to answer any questions, especially about the sustainable logging and the history of the area .

As we head back out of the forest we will stop at one of the lookouts for you take more photo's and enjoy your afternoon tea of Tim Tams and a cold drink. If there is anything of interest you see along the way, just let us know and we are more than happy for you to stop and explore.

Your day finishes with a stop in Dungog, where you have the chance to purchase souvenirs.

PRICES:

• $135 per adult minimum 2 people

• $120 per senior minimum 2 people

• $80 per child 5 to 12 years old.

• Maximum numbers of 8 people

Tour price will vary depending on numbers and pick-up point.

CANCELLATION POLICY

In the event of a cancellation, the following fees will apply to any refund due, with the time to be taken from the tour date arrival

More than 28 days                            Full refund less administration fee $10

Between 7 and 28 Days                  Administration fee and 20% of tariff retained

Less than 1 day                                No refund unless the tour is fully rebooked

• 20% Deposit required when booking final payment due before tour date

• If paying cash on the day a credit card number must be given at time of booking.

• We have the right to charge to you, any additional charges that are in relation to your tour

DAYS AND TIMES: Bookings are ESSENTIAL!

• Every Monday and Tuesday. Excluding public holidays.
• Other days on request.

Departure Points:

• Maitland Visitor Information Centre 8am - return 5pm
• Dungog Visitor Information Centre 9am - return 4pm
• Please contact operator for alternate pick-up point

What to bring/wear:

• Wet weather gear.

• Warm jacket,

• closed in shoes,

• bottle of water.

• Plus the ability to have a great day out!

• Long trousers/jeans are essential.

Conditions:

• 24 hours notice is required when booking.

• Please notify operator of any dietary requirements the day before your tour.

• Please notify operator of any allergies the day before your tour.

• Children must be accompanied by an adult and are the responsibility of the parents.

• Hunter Tours may alter, cancel your tour due to weather conditions or at their discretion.
